"I have feelings too. I am still human. All I want is to be loved, for myself and for my talent." - Marilyn Monroe
Bert Stern's pictures of Marilyn from the legendary, so-called 'Last Sitting' were photographed for Vogue magazine over three days at the Bel-Air Hotel. The photographs - widely considered to be the most intimate photographs of Marilyn Monroe ever - were taken six weeks before her death on 5 August 1962 from a barbituates overdose. She was 36 years old.
