Selfridges puts the extravagance in extravaganza, and the double whammy of a sporting summer and the Queen's Jubilee is more than excuse for celebration - it's a necessity. Until the end of the Olympics, London's retail emporium is hosting the The Big British Bang, a theatre of events, exclusive shopping collaborations and special happenings. There's a glorious Britannica exhibition, British brands like Mulberry and Barbour have created bespoke British-themed products and the Big Yellow Shop is launched, where iconic British products are yellow-washed a la Selfridges signature colour. There's even a tiara shop, for die-hard royalists. Put us down for a corgi statue and a yellow Diptyque mimosa candle. Chin chin!
