Brown Betty Teapot

Originally created in Stoke-on-Trent in 1695 and made from red clay which retained the heat, tea brewed in a Brown Betty teapot was considered to be the best - both for the material but also because the shape meant there was more room for the tea to move around and diffuse in the water.
