Hanes Classic White T-Shirts

Established in 1901, Hanes originally made undergarments. It was 1970 when they discovered that the white underwear could be screen printed and used as outerwear, so they began selling t-shirts. In the 80s they discovered the plain white t-shirt was their most lucrative product and increased manufacture. Now 88% of Americans buy Hanes clothing and they are sold all over the world.
