Ray Ban Sunglasses

In 1929 Ray-Ban created a new type of eyewear that would protect pilots from glare at high altitudes, the first model available to the public was a plastic frame in the Aviator shape which went on sale in 1936 and the eyewear became a must have fashion accessory. In 1952, the best selling Wayfarer was launched.
