The devil is in the detail as artist James Mylne knows all too well. Using BIC biros to create images like this vintage Audrey Hepburn can take hundreds of hours to complete, with one mistake leading to a work being destroyed and the whole intricate process starting again.

Mylne has been perfecting his craft for 15 years and a new exhibition, Vintage Vogue, sees his finest work on display at London's Rook & Raven Gallery. Specialising in photorealist images of women from the golden age of Hollywood, mostly in black and white, Mylne explains that the medium appealed to him due to the huge level of concentration required for each drawing. We think Audrey would approve.
