The recent trend for designer collaborations was one Marimekko started doing in the 60s, when they paired with another Finnish label, Iittala, to create the Mari Bowl, a classic glasswork design now available in a range of candy-coloured hues. Marimekko has since gone on to collaborate with Converse, H&M and Avon.
