Recycle old knitted jumpers, wool skirts and tweed jackets by making them into cushion covers.
How to do itUnpick or cut all the main seams of the garment and lay it flat on the floor. Work out the biggest sized double square or rectangle you can make out of the fabric and cut it out. Then simply sew around the edges and leave the other for the opening, adding a zip, ties or flap to close the cover once you've inserted your cushion.
