Poached salmon

  • Brush a salmon fillet with a little oil and season with salt and pepper
  • Wrap it securely in foil - the package must be watertight
  • Pop into a saucepan of cold water, bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the heat and leave it to sit for 5 minutes. Remove the package and unwrap it.
